Ultra Knee Support with Bilateral Hinges is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 94.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Been wearing this for several weeks now, works great! Fit seemed tight at first, however if you put up with it for half a day or so, it will start to feel comfortable and you might actually forget it's there :-) Hinges are covered and don't stick out too far, so you can also wear it at night and under normal clothes. I initially just bought one for a damaged meniscus to avoid surgery and can now nearly walk again. Decided to use same model on other knee as well now, as that side was getting sore from being on crutches for several weeks. Tip for getting the brace off: grab the hinges on both sides and pull down on them while straightening the leg as much as you can, brace should come off easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built, designed product The brace is tough and very well constructed. It helped stabilize my left knee hiking and biking in southern Utah while I was awaiting meniscus surgery. But the real benefit had been to my right knee that's somewhat loose after I had most of the medial meniscus removed in 1987. Prevents twisting and hyperextention. I had good luck with the size...my knee was 14.5", so I went with a large which was just right. My thighs are big from weight lifting although I don't have huge calves, which makes removal fairly easy even after sweating. If I had huge calves it might be harder to get off, hence other reviewers' complaints. For me, the brace is excellent with no downside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ret. U.S. Navy I blew out my PCL 5 years ago and have had 2 surgeries atempring to repair my knee. Unfortunately I still have 1.75 inches of travel in my knee and am looking at a third revision. I have a Don Joy brace custom fited to my knee and this one(paid for by the military). I prefer this one it allows me to live life at home comfortably and sleep with it on. The flexibility and the construction has lasted 4 years. I am about to buy Two more because I can not walk with out a brace. The construction and material in this brace is above par and is washable matiance is easy. Over all this is the best brace i have found that is not $2,500 it is well worth the cost!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great support, too tight of a fit I like that the brace provides better support for the inside and outside of my knee than the more expensive Breg wrap brace that I got through my doctor's office. I wear it all day with no discomfort. I have one complaint and one suggestion. My complaint is that based on the measurement of my knee, I was right between the XXL and XXXL braces. Following the site's recommendation to order up, the XXXL was a little too loose so I returned it with no problem. The XXL is tight around my calf and can be difficult to remove but otherwise fits fine. My suggestion is to make the the hook/loop (Velcro) section of the straps longer. When I tighten down the strap, there's not enough material to fasten the strap to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improves my life within 24 hours I've gone through so many knee braces it's not even funny. None could stabilize my failing knee (I'm too young to get surgery, so I have to make do), but this one does. It's comfortable, rugged, reliable, and it DOESNT slide down you leg like most other knee braces do. It's an all in one; you don't need any other insert. One enormous piece of advice: it has hinges. When you are as active as I am now thanks to this brace, hinges will SQUEAK. My solution was to use Super Lube (Harbor Freight carries it) and pack the hinges full of it. It's plastic safe and has no odor and great for extreme low and high temps. I am going to buy a second one of these, possibly tool more as backup. Amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, durable product Some people are complaining about the size. What you can do is to find a nearest Dicks Sporting Goods or any retailers who carry this product, then go there and find the one that is best fit to your knee. Now, don't buy that at that store, but just come home and find the best deal on online. In that way, the best size and fit for your knee should not go wrong. I had a torn meniscus, and went through a procedure to remove half of it in my right knee. I constantly play on a drumset and Timpani etc, and had a significant pain here and there. But now, I do not have to worry about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for old knees! Just did some on-line research for a suitable brace for my right knee that is 30 years post op for a Patella Tendon graft for an ACL explosion. Had been brace free but old age and arthritis have taken its toll and the need is now. Very happy with the 875 and ended up buying a second one for the other knee. Bought XL as per the sizing chart and while it is hard to put on and take off, the support it provides has given me a lot of confidence for skiing at a fairly high level for an old guy (65). I recommend this brace for anyone needing structural support for the knees during activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable & not too restricting, ideal brace I have an injured knee from an accident a few years ago (also broke my fibula and tibia). I'm now healing from a minor tear in my meniscus from the instability my knee will forever have (all 4 ligaments are very loose). My orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist said if I want to run ('m an avid runner) and hike I need to wear a brace or I will continue to injure my knee. I did some research and found this brace. Both my PT and I think it's perfect. I still have a lot of movement so it's not too restricting but it does a great job at stabilizing my knee. It give me the confidence to starting running and hiking again knowing that I have a little extra support.
