Ultra Braces Mouthguard Fitting Instructions
To Fit This Mouthguard You Will Need:
Fitting Instructions
- Boil 4 cups or more of water in a saucepan.
- Bring water to full boil.
- Remove from heat and let sit and still for 30 seconds.
- Attach tether to Ultra Braces mouthguard and submerge in stilled hot boiled water.
- Use tether to hold mouthguard under water for 20 seconds.
- Remove from water. Shake off excess water. Cool for 2-3 seconds.
- Place in mouth facing a mirror so mouthguard is centered.
- Bite down softly along full arch of mouthguard all the way to back molars making sure to push with fingers the inner brace channel of mouthguard over the top of brace brackets on teeth. (Double Braces lower channels sits naturally on top of lower brackets)
- Keep biting firmly while sucking in air and remove mouthguard after at least 20-25 seconds.
- Drop into glass of cold water with ice cubes and let sit for at least two minutes and remove. Insert in mouth to ensure mouthguard channel is aligned over the brace brackets and fit overall is snug.
If your first attempt did not fit satisfactorily:
- Follow Steps 1-4 from fitting instructions.
- Step 5. Immerse in hot water for 15 seconds.
- Follow Steps 6-10 from fitting instructions.

Quick Tips
- Never chew or distort Mouthguard. This will damage the mouthguard, shorten longevity and reduce or ruin fit and effectiveness.
- Store at room temperature, preferably in a clean mouthguard case.
- Clean and rinse after each use.
