The Smoke 2 Shoulder Pad is born of 1960’s space age technology. Shock absorbing polyfilament weave technology developed for NASA’s monumental journey to the moon has been re-engineered 40 years later to create Shock Doctor’s ImpactWeave Composite material. Interwoven poly-filament yarns create a lightweight, shock absorbing composite that doesn’t retain moisture. The inner surface is lined with an anti-microbial mesh. The integrated, yet removable inner lining is a ventilated, lightweight and removable cushion layer. The Shock Doctor Smoke 2 is a total system of dual layer protection, with our tested anatomical design for an unobtrusive close fit, removable articulating shoulder caps and with patented Heart-Gard™ chest protection.
