Shock Doctor, Inc. Partners with SKI-Doo/BOSS Racing
1/9/2009
Shock Doctor, Inc. recognized as the global brand leader in advanced protective products throughout the sports industry, is proud to announce a partnership with Ski-Doo/BOSS Racing, as the official protective gear and official bag sponsor of the elite racing team. Shock Doctor is also a product participant in BOSS Racing’s 2008-2009 International Series of Champions (ISOC) race series giveaway promotion. ISOC is the organization promoting snocross racing nationally, across U.S. and Canada.
“Shock Doctor is thrilled to enter into a partnership with the nationally recognized Ski-Doo/BOSS Racing team,” said Bill Best, vice president of product development for Shock Doctor, Inc. “Shock Doctor, like the BOSS Racing team, has set the stage within their industry by competing at the toughest level of competition and succeeding as the front runner. We are proud to supply our innovative Power Dry System to these fearless athletes, who represent what we are all about. As Shock Doctor moves into this arena, our focus is to provide both professional and recreational competitors with superior protective gear.”
Shock Doctor uses advanced technology to protect racers from injury and keep them healthy. The unique Power Dry System, which Ski-Doo/BOSS Racing utilizes, allows for quick drying and deodorizing of the team’s equipment being stored in their Power Dry Ultra Gear Bags and Power Dry Helmet Bags. The Power Dry System technology keeps racers protected from potentially harmful bacteria, by eliminating the damp environment where bacteria thrive on sweaty Snocross equipment. Racers can quickly dry and heat their gear in between rides. These bags are designed for life at the track, with compartments to house all of the essential snowmobile gear.
The Ski-Doo/BOSS Racing team is one of the first to experience the innovation of the new Power Dry Helmet Dryer. Hung in the hauler or set on a bench, to quickly dry and deodorize any type of helmet, the Power Dry Helmet Dryer filters warm ozonated air throughout a wet, sweaty helmet.
“The ISOC series starts in November and ends in mid-April, during the peak of wet, cold, winter weather at competition spots around the country,” said Garry Querel, Ski-Doo/BOSS Racing team owner. “Whether the team is racing in competition or out all day in practice runs, one thing that shouldn’t slow them down is wet gear. Shock Doctor’s Power Dry Gear Bags are the solution, improving the comfort of our riders during the toughest levels of competition, at all times.”
