The partnership will allow Shock Doctor to work with Hibbert, one of the top racers electrifying the scene this season, on product development as the company makes a presence in a new sports category. Shock Doctor will also serve as Hibbert’s official bag sponsor and protective gear sponsor with their core protection products, impact products and mouthguards.

Hibbert will be working closely with executives at Shock Doctor to develop and test new products in Shock Doctor’s line of Power Dry Gear Bags. The patented Power Dry System refreshes, deodorizes and kills bacteria on equipment inside the bag. Racers can quickly dry and heat their gear between rides, preventing elements and wet gear from hindering their performance. In partnership with Hibbert, Shock Doctor designed a custom Moto Lycra® 4-way stretch pant to meet the unique demands of snocross racers today. The pant has been such a success for Hibbert that it will be part of Shock Doctor’s 2010 product line for consumers. Hibbert will continue to use Shock Doctor’s Moto Short Lite compression short and MotoX Performance Insole and Eject Helmet Removal System, which provides the safe removal of a racer's helmet after a crash, easily lifting the helmet off of the racer’s head without causing unnecessary neck and spine movement. The system reduces the severity of a neck injury. The Power Dry Ultra Gear Bag and Power Dry Helmet Bag will also be used for both travel and competition.

Hibbert is boasting an undefeated season, with wins at the AMSOIL Duluth National, and at the ACSS Bad River Lodge and Casino National. Hibbert will be defending his snocross gold medal at the upcoming ESPN’s Winter X Games 13, Jan. 22-25, 2009. This marks his tenth appearance at the Winter X Games.
